In 2011, Keri, Dan and I co-founded Dare2tri with the goal of getting athletes with physical diasbilities into the sport of triathlon. Over the past 8 years, we have helped over 300 athletes find their first finish line. By providing coaching, expensive adaptive equipment, year round training, grants and camps for youth, adults and injured service members, our athletes have found self worth, self confidence and the realization of how much ability is in their disability. We like to say that the finish line is just the beginning for our athletes as they learn what they are capable of through the sport of triathlon. Not only that, but they connect with other athletes with similar disabilities and, as our motto states, help one inspire many. As a member of the Dare2tri elite team, I am lucky enough to have financial help to help me get to races as I race in hopes of making it to the Tokyo 2020 Paralymoic Games. I am proud to wear the Dare2tri name on my tri kit as I compete around hte world!
